The Dry Tortugas are located 70 miles due west of Key West. Garden Key, home to Ft. Jefferson, is the only key open to the public. The largest of America's coastal forts, Ft. Jefferson was built with over 16 million bricks. Famous as the jail site for Dr. Samuel Mudd. Ft. Jefferson also offers spectacular beaches, incredible snorkeling and some of the best bird watching in the world. Sea Plane and ferry services leave Key West daily for the fort.

Fishing trips to the Dry Tortugas offer the serious angler world class action. Fishing charters can be arranged for groups up to six passengers. Party/Head boat over night fishing is available at certain times of the year.
