Kayak trips come in two formats, shore based and boat based. Shore based trips leave form various spots along the Keys. They offer 1/2 day and full day trips with guides. Boat based trips normally include snorkeling in the back country, lunch and beverages, and of course kayaking. Most of these trips take place on small 6 passenger sail boats, but some are based from larger 40 passenger catamarans. Trips are 1/2 day (4hrs) or full day (6 to 8hrs).
